* ☆ Icarus (Complete) (warning: sex) - I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS FIC. I usually have a lot of feelings, but this blows a lot of things out of the water. OUT OF THE WATER. It has such a nice comfortable flexible writing and beautiful and subtle perspective shifts and I cannot even handle this. It's completely sad, too, but I may spend the rest of my life refusing to admit how sad it is and just contemplate its goodness. Dave is an incomplete photographer who wants to photograph John, but it is so much more than that. So much more.
The Pianist on the Subway - Dave sees a talented pianist, John, on the subway. Though still incomplete, I am eager to see how it unfolds, since the writing already has a very gentle pace and it's remarkably pleasant to read.
Shared Space (Complete) (warning: frottage, sex) - John and Dave get it on with frottage, and it's really quite nice. I enjoyed it.
Seven Minutes (warnings: sex) - John and Dave meet, and it gets very steamy. I have finally caught up to reading this, and this is every bit as amazing as everybody says it is. I'm pleased as pickles, because it's just so much quality guilty pleasure fun. Dave's a dork, John's a loser, and everything is just so cool. Also, sex. I like the sexy parts, too.
After Class Lesson (Complete) (warning: sex, light bondage, spanking) - Dave pretends to be a student and John pretends to be a teacher, and it's ridiculously dorky and cute. Also, sex. I still enjoy the sexy parts. But it's just super, super cute how they play off each other.
Interstellar Lullabies (Complete) - John and Dave and insomnia, basically. I remember reading this when I was first new to these fics, and I remember feeling this one was really comfortable and cozy. It was nice.
Achievement Unlocked (Complete) (warning: sex) - John and Dave compete in seeing how sexiness can throw the other off their game. It's short, but definitely very sweet, and I do not realize how I managed to forget to put it on here.
Be Still, Be Light (Complete) - John and Davesprite get to know each other on the ship. It's a little sad and it's a little sweet, but that's Davesprite for you.
